A trip to the zoo

Hooray! On the 1st of September 2011 the students and staff of Glenbrae School were going on a trip to the Auckland Zoo.

I was so happy because we were going to see lots of animals . We went there by bus . Then we went to see the giraffe. I only saw the male and baby giraffe . Next we moved on to see the springbok and the rhino walking slowly. After that we started looking at the elephant. There is a new elephant called Anubis. They bought a new elephant because Kashin the previous elephant died.

I was sad because we did not see enough animals. I enjoyed my trip to the zoo.

We liked your report on the Zoo Trip we had last Thursday because you had a interesting report but you didn't have many animals in your Zoo Trip report except elephants and springbok.

Hi Bono,
Hooray indeed! Excitement was certainly in the air the day of the school zoo trip!
The way you have used different words to start your sentences makes for an interesting story - well done!
