Last week Room 10 did Art with Graham Dodd in the Glenbrae School Hall. Room 10 learnt lots of artistic skills from Dodd. We created a presentation of our artwork using google slides.

Ripper rugby

Today Room 10 had ripper rugby with coach Matt on the Glenbrae School field.

First we played bullrush. Then we learnt some throwing and passing skills. Finally we played a games in two teams-the white team and the yellow team.

We enjoyed ripper rugby today and learnt a lot of new skills.

Today Room 10 had ripper rugby in the Glenbrae School hall with coach Matt.

We learnt passing skills. We also played a game called "Rats & Rabbits" where we had to rip each others tags off.

We enjoyed our session with coach Matt and learnt a lot of rugby skills.

Trip to the Art Gallery

On Thursday 17 March 2016 Room 10 students went by bus to the Art Gallery. We learnt a lot about Maori culture and Art.

Kiwican: Term 1: Week 7

Our theme for this term is Positive relationships and our topic for today was on "Conflict resolution."

First we did an energiser which was called "Positive me;positive you". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about what to do when someone is upset. Finally we did an activity called "How are you feeling"  where we had to design a t shirt for our role model

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about positive relationships.

First we did an energiser which was called "heart beat". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about being a good role model.. Finally we did an activity called "T shirt time"  where we had to design a t shirt for our role model

Today Room 10 had snag golf with Jay on the Glenbrae School court. We learnt how to time the ball and hit it with speed to the target.

First we did an energiser which was called "pop n lock". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about why it is important to share and take turns.. Finally we did an activity called "Paper Plane"  where we had to see who could fly our planes the furtherest.

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about positive relationships.
