KIWICAN: WEEK 6; TERM 2

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Responsibility."

First we did an energiser which was called "21". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was learning to keep to the rules and encourage others to do so too.  Our catch phrase was Kiwi can says: "I do what I say, I say what I do, Responsible me responsible you."

Finally we did an activity called "Octopus" where we had to keep to the rules." We learnt a lot about responsibility from Kiwican today.

To make my poppy I used the following steps:

First I coloured in my poppy head in bright red.
Next I cut out the centre of the poppy. Once finished I bent it up.
Then I attached the poppy head to a green strip of paper through centre of the poppy.
Finally I cut out the small centre of the poppy and glued it on the top.

ASTHMA PRESENTATION

On Thursday morning Room 8 went to an asthma presentation that was held in the Glenbrae School hall to learn about what we do incase someone has an asthma attack.

Chris and Sailor the poppa fish gave us some useful information regarding asthma.

We really enjoyed the show because it had funny music and we learnt a lot about asthma.

Kiwican: Week 5, Term 2

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today for this week was on "Responsibility."

First we did an energiser which was called "21". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about how we can clean up after ourselves.  Our catch phrase was Kiwi can says: "I do what I say, I do what I do, Responsible me responsible you."

Finally did an activity called "My belongings " where we had to protect our partner's belongings. We learnt a lot about responsibility from Kiwican today.

Kiwican: Week 4, Term 2

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for new today for this week was on "Responsibility."

First we did an energiser which was called "Balance the pen". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was how to be responsible and how to look after things. Our catch phrase was Kiwi can says: "I do what I say, I do what I do, Responsible me responsible you." Finally did an activity called "The winker" where we had to pretend to die if someone winked at us.

We learnt a lot about responsibility from Kiwican today.
