On Wednesday the 14 of November 2012 we went to Hoyts at Sylvia Park for the Manaiakalani Film Festival.
There
were many schools present. The screen was massive. Room 1 students from
Glenbrae school did the Haka. I enjoyed watching the Haka so much that I
felt like standing up and joining in.
The Manaiakalani Film Festival was really funny.

Granddad's Garden
Granddad’s grandchild was feeling sad and unhappy. When grand dad saw Elly he made her feel happy and comfortable. We learnt that when we are sad, unhappy or angry we should not hide our feelings. In the story when the house was noisy they would go outside and swim, talk and laugh.
I really enjoyed the story because I learnt a lot.

Duffy Show
Last week, Glenbrae students went to Tamaki College for the Duffy show.
Duffy liked to read and Scruffy liked to play rugby and the best book in the world was exciting. Amy liked to sing and Dad liked to sleep. The shy book had a sad and shy picture, the muscle book was about strong people and the dancing book was about people dancing funny. The karate book had karate pictures and the people were Japanese men and women.
The Duffy show was interesting because I learnt a lot about reading.
