Sketching of a plant
I was able to sketch a plant using pencil. Then I used chalk on the pencil outlines. Next I used pastel to colour it in. Finally I used glitter to make my work look pretty.

Wind pollinated flowers
The flowers are small.
The pistils are feathery.
The grains of pollen are light.
The stamens are long.
The flowers produce no nectar.

Animal pollinated flowers

have large, brightly coloured petals to attract insects.

They are sweetly
scented and contain nectar to attract insects.
The pollen is sticky
to stick to insects.
The anthers are firm
and inside the flower to brush against insects.
The stigma is inside
the flower so that the insect brushes against it.
