Kiwican; Term 3; Week 8

Our theme for this term is Resilience and our topic for today was on "Persevere."

First we did an energiser which was called "Ball tag". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about being patient and not giving up. Finally we did an activity called "zeros and crosses " where we had two teams and had to work as a team and work together to sit in a line of three on a chair first.

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about problem solving.

Financial literacy

Room 10 had financial literacy today with Griegan and Raymond and learnt a lot about money.

Kiwican: Term 3; Week 6

Our theme for this term is Resilience and our topic for today was on "problem solving."

First we did an energiser which was called "Shape shifters". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about different ways to solve problems. Finally we did an activity called "Untangle me" where we had two teams and had to work as a team and work together to untangle each other.

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about problem solving.

Kiwican Term 3 Week 5

Our theme for this term is Resilience and our topic for today was on "problem solving."

First we did an energiser which was called "Catching monkeys". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about different ways to solve problems. Finally we did an activity called "problem solving poster" where we had to have a poster with a problem and a solution.

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about problem solving.

Kiwican term 3 week 3

Our theme for this term is Resilience and our topic for today was on "Goal setting."

First we did an energiser which was called "Bring Sally up, Bring Sally down". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about celebrating goals we have achieved. Finally we did an activity called "Kiwi limbo" where we had to walk under sticks without touching them.

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being goal setting.

Kiwican; Term 3; Week 1

Our theme for this term is Resilience and our topic for today was on "Goal setting."

First we did an energiser which was called "Horses and Jockeys". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about why we set goals and how they help us. Finally we did an activity called "Up or down" where we had to make points to reach or goal.

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being goal setting.

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Accountability."

First we did an energiser which was called "Eyes up; eyes down". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about being honest and tell the truth. Finally we did an activity called "Golf soccer" where we had 3 teams with 3 balls and had to score 2 goals by kicking the balls into the hoop. 

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being honest.

Kiwican: week 9; term 2

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Accountability."

First we did an energiser which was called "Eyes up; eyes down". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about being honest and tell the truth. Finally we did an activity called "Golf soccer" where we had 3 teams with 3 balls and had to score 2 goals by kicking the balls into the hoop. 

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being honest.

Kiwican: Term 2: week 8

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Accountability."

First we did an energiser which was called "Netball tag" ". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about being honest and tell the truth. Finally we did an activity called "Hand soccer" where we had 2 teams with a ball and had to score a goal using our hands to play soccer. 

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being good role models.

KIWICAN: TERM 2: WEEK 7

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Accountability."

First we did an energiser which was called "Buddy buddy". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about times we have been good role model. Finally we did an activity called "Overtake" where we had 2 teams with a ball each and had to pass the ball to beat the other team. 

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being good role models.

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Being a role model."

 First we did an energiser which was called "Statues". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was  about times we have been good role model. Finally we did an activity called "Positive rap" where we had to create a positive rap. 

We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about being good role models.

 First we did an energiser which was called "Dino ball". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about how can we become a good role model. Finally we did an activity called "RolePlay" where we had to guess who the role model was from the action done by the other group.

 First we did an energiser which was called "Fruity tooty". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about what a role model is. Finally we did an activity called "Role model charades" where we had to guess who the role model was from the action.

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Making good choices."

 First we did an energiser which was called "Clap on time". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about the making of good/ bad choices. Finally we did an activity called "Dodge ball" where we had to dodge the ball when someone threw the ball.

 We enjoyed Kiwican today and learnt a lot about making good choices.
