2013 Reflections

In room 8  Mrs Moopanar was my class Teacher. We did many interesting and enjoyable things in class.

I enjoyed swimming very much because I improved in my swimming. At Guided Inquiry Learning we were able to share our learning. I enjoyed that very much.

I looked forward to play against other schools in our sports tournaments. I loved participating in those tournaments.

We had coaches from outside to coach us in various activities.I liked our Soccer coaches Ben and Bruce Lee very much.

I also enjoyed our school subjects because we got to learn about stuff that we don't know.

Thank you Mrs Moopanar and Ms D for teaching me stuff that I didn't know. Have a safe Xmas!!

3 D fish

I created a 3D (stuffed with newspaper) fish for the Rotary Xmas function.

First, I drew my fish on white paper. Then I cut it up. Next I painted it. Thereafter I added some glitter to make it pretty. Finally I stuffed it with newspaper.

My 3D fish looked beautiful!

Samuels painting

Transport painting:
To create this painting I first did some rough sketches of different forms of transport and I chose my favourite one to paint. I drew the design onto cardboard and went over the lines in vivid. I made sure to erase all pencil lines before I started painting this is because pencil can show through the paint. Ie then painted our transport designs.

A car

A car is something that people use to drive to places.

It has got an engine to help it move.It has back wheels to move and front wheels to turn. An automatic car changes the gears on its own, but a manual car is a car that is hard to drive and to understand how to change the gears sometimes. An automatic car is very different from a manual car and an automatic car uses what an engine to change its gears. Deep inside the engine is something which look like legs but they are not legs. They are things which is called clutches and brakes.

A car has four windows, four wheels and four doors. Some examples of cars are muscle cars, monster trucks and fast cars and normal cars. Some cars also have roofs and some cars do not have any roofs. Some cars have roofs for winter like 4x4 cars which are strong cars for winter.

Without cars it will be really difficult for us to move around.
