I know that your fur keeps you warm in winter just like it’s doing for me, so I just want to say thank you for my warm fur blanket.

Printmaking

I created this print by making the image on a block using card. Then I rolled an even coat of ink over the surface and placed paper over the block applying pressure using my hands and a roller to transfer the print.

My favourite animal

My favourite animal is a cheetah because it is fast. A cheetah is a vertebrate because it has a backbone.

Reflections on Air

I learnt that smoke that comes out of a chimney from a factory can cause air pollution.

A trip to the Airport

Yay! On Wednesday 22 June 2011 Room 8,7,9 students form Glenbrae School went to the airport to learn about air. We went by bus to the airport.

When we got there we wrote down  some facts about Jean Batten from the white boards. We went up an escalator to get a better view of Jean Batten’s plane which we drew.

We then went back to school by bus. It was fun at the airport and I learnt many facts about flights and Jean Batten.

The Goblin's Tale

Hooray! Last Thursday all the students from Glenbrae School went to the hall to watch the Goblin’s Tale.

We had to sit on the floor. We saw a knight and some people dancing. One was funny because he many funny faces and the other did lots of “cool” moves.

The Goblin’s Tale was fantastic and at I learnt that it’s important to help people.
