A trip to the Airport

Yay! We were going off to the Auckland Airport. The students from Rooms 7, 8 and 9 of Glenbrae School travelled by bus to the airport. We went there to learn about Jean Batten and Air.

A lady called Barbara and took us to around and she gave us flags so that we could wave the flag up in case we were lost. Then we stood up and followed Barbara around the airport. Next we saw a board and it said what time do we go and when do we go. After that we saw Jean Batten’s plane.

Suddenly there was a fire alarm and we had to evacuate the building. We then got back to school. I enjoyed my visit to the airport and I learnt a lot about air.

Hi Voni,
It was good that you were able to see the actual Percival Gull that Jean Batten flew before the fire alarm went off!
I like the way you used different ways to start your sentences.
