Our Class Korowai Cloak

Each student made 2 feathers, on each feather they wrote a word that describes the type of people we have in our classroom; Honest, Responsible, Happy etc. We also have some feathers with Maori and Samoan words to celebrate language weeks

Early Childhood centre visit

Today Room 8 visited the Early Childhood Centre today.

First we read a big book called "Rabbit and Rooster" to the children. Then we played with them. Finally George thanked them.

We enjoyed our visit to the Early Childhood Centre.

Run; jump; throw

Today Room 8 had an Athletics session on 'Run; jump; throw' wit Georgia. We first did a warm up. Then we played a game called 'Sharks, abandoned ship and islands.' We really enjoyed our Athletics session today. Below are some photos to share our learning.

In Maths we used a measuring tape to measure the length of our hands. My hand measured 15cm.

Kiwican: Term 2: Week 11

Our theme for this term is Integrity and our topic for today was on "Reliability, Responsibility and Honesty."

 First we did an energiser which was called "11 and 21". Then we spoke about our learning intention which was about Reliability, Responsibility and Honesty.

Finally did an activity called "Heads down; Thumbs up " where we had to guess who touched us. We learnt a lot about integrity from Kiwi can today.
