Duffy role model assembly

Today Room 8 went to a Duffy Assembly in the Glenbrae School Hall with Myron Simpson who was how Duffy Role Model and he talked to us about the importance of Reading.

Myron has been riding and racing bikes since the age of 3. He started in BMX and then moved onto racing on the road and in the velodrome. He has represented New Zealand at the Junior World Championships receiving the Silver Medal in Mexico 2007 and placed fourth in the 1000m time trial at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. He has travelled and raced all over the world with cycling, finishing a digital film diploma along the way! He loves eating and making food, and even has his own muesli company - 'Myron's Muesli'.www.roadcycling.co.nz/TeamTalk/myron-simpson-stepping-back-from-cycling.html
