Mihi

I come from Tonga.

My mountain is Mt Wellington.   
My river is  the Tamaki River.   
I belong to the Tongan race.
I live in Glen Innes,  Auckland.
I am Alifeleti Hafoka.

    Hello,
    There are great Mihi, giving us a good understanding of where you all come from. Will you learn to say your Mihi in Maori or in your own language (Tongan, Samoan, ...)?
    I learnt a Mihi when I was at High School and sang it as part of a support group for a friend who was speaking in a Maori Language Competition - I still remember it now!
