A trip to the Airport
Yay! On Wednesday 22 June 2011 Room 8,7,9 students form Glenbrae School went to the airport to learn about air. We went by bus to the airport.
When we got there we wrote down some facts about Jean Batten from the white boards. We went up an escalator to get a better view of Jean Batten’s plane which we drew.
We then went back to school by bus. It was fun at the airport and I learnt many facts about flights and Jean Batten.
Hi Moli, There was a lot of information by Jean Batten's Percival Gull, wasn't there? Do you think you would have liked to sit inside it and fly by yourself such a long way, as she did? Tsana (Karl & Robin's mum)
